Awesome station. Purchased the plans. I don’t believe you listed the leveling feet style/size you used in the supply list. Mind sharing? Thanks!!

Just a 5/16 bolt and a threaded insert.

Tyler, I know this plan set is for non-sliding miter saw, but would a Delta Cruzer sliding miter saw fit? The Cruzer has compact sliding arms. Just wondering what your thoughts are on that.

    • DIYTyler

      I believe it would fit!

Purchased the plans. Possible to receive the sketchup as well? The images don’t show all the relevant angles. Thanks!

Awesome plans! Would be a huge help if you could provide the drawer slide locations (ie: distance from the bottom of the cabinets). Want to make blocks to locate and secure the drawers the way Jay Bates did in his build and want to be sure they’re correctly positioned to your specs. Thanks from a noobie!

I’m interested in building your station but I need to fit it into a unique space in the shop and so I’ll need to modify it to fit that space. Does the sketchup file come with the purchased plans? Or is there a way to get it included? I’d even pay a fee if need be. I purchased Jay’s plans and it came with the sketchup file and I’ve been playing around with it to make it fit that space. I think your plans would better fit my Bosch gliding saw with a little modification to the plans. Thanks.

How many total sheets of plywood was this project? Wondering about rough cost but like it a lot!

Hi Tyler, great video, clean and simple. You mention that these plans ARE NOT FOR A SLIDING CMS, what modification would you need to make for that?

    • DIYTyler

Tim, you would have to build the station much deeper to accommodate. That said there are several new saws on the scene that have the sliding bars in the front or are built around a gliding system, these would work great on this miter station.

Jay Bates (Jayscustomcreations.com) has a pretty much the same miter station but built for a sliding saw if you end up wanting a traditional sliding saw.
