Am sure most of you guys know and drool over the Festool Domino machine but it is significantly out of the price range of most of us. In this video I use some plans from Alex over at Instwood.com [Website | YouTube] to build a portable mortiser with a twist….this one is cordless!
I also teamed up with Wes over at Geeksmithing [ Website | YouTube] to fabricate some 3d printed parts to use as the dust collection. This is the first time I have used 3d printed parts and it was so cool and worked out perfect the first time!

How did you get the plans in a format that your CNC could use? I bought the plans and only see a PDF. Do I need to cover these myself? Also, what size drawer slides did you use?
I make the CNC file myself. If you can email me with proof of purchase I can forward them on to you.
DIYTyler … I just bought the plans, could I get the CNC file too? If so, how do I email you?
Where can I get the plans for you diy mortiser?
