Gone are the days where you need daylight and a big Bay window to trace projects for homework arts, and crafts. Today I am making this lightweight, durable and beautifully bright tracing box, using LED bulbs and some fun techniques.
Check out the build video below and the free set of plans to go along with it.
Any questions or comments please let me know and I would be glad to help.

This is awesome but I can’t see on the video just how to install the electrical parts. It would be great if you could detail that a little further in the .pdf.
Thanks!
Debra
I have viewed the video many times, especially where you are cutting the slots for the plexi top. i do not understand how you made those cuts. You say the plans show them in detail, but they don’t. They show you the result, not how to do it. And, your voiceover is indistinct.
It looks like you make two cuts, one on the edge at 45 degrees and then another on the flat side of the board to square off the bottom of the slot?
The opposite angle of 45 degrees is also 45 degrees, correct?
Did you ever find an answer to your question? I want to do this Light box project, but can’t figure out the operation of cutting the 45 degree slot for the plexiglass top.
